Ask Helply

Helply is an AI assistant in the Schuly web app. It can answer questions about your school data, such as "What exams do I have this week?" You need a Schuly account.

Helply isn't available on every server. If it's turned off, the server hasn't set it up.

Your data goes to an AI service

To answer you, Helply sends your messages, your attachments, and the data it reads to the AI service your server uses. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important.

Start a chat

  1. Open app.schuly.dev and sign in.
  2. In the sidebar, under AI, choose Helply.
  3. Type a question and press Enter. To start a new line, press Shift+Enter.

To attach files, drag them into the chat. You can attach up to 5 files per message, each up to 20 MB.

Choose what Helply can use

Open Helply settings to set what Helply can read or change for each area, such as grades or mail. Your changes apply to your next message.

Approve changes

Helply asks before it does anything that changes your data, such as deleting a mail. Choose Approve or Deny.

Run code on your files

If your server offers it, turn on Workspace (run code) in Helply settings. Helply can then run code on your attachments, for example to make a chart of your grades. The workspace has no internet access.

How long chats are kept

Schuly deletes conversations automatically after 30 days, along with their attachments. You can also delete them yourself at any time.
